Right now, this is just a rumor/wishful thinking. Personally, I think a Captain Marvel 2 that has Carol fighting Rogue will easily surpass the first and get everyone, myself included, excited for mutants in the MCU. I REALLY hope this happens, but I know it's not likely.

That's not to say that Rogue, Mystique, or Destiny showing up in this movie are impossible. But I think it's more likely that they'll show up as a teaser or a post-credits scene. I don't think it'll be the main plot because I have a feeling that was decided before the Disney/Fox deal became official. Marvel Studios plans things out ahead a great deal and the plot for Captain Marvel 2 was likely set before the first even came out. I doubt they'll change it at this point.

I could be wrong. I hope I am and Captain Marvel 2 represents the first real plot involving mutants in the MCU, but I'll believe it when I see it.

People mostly publish rumors from credible inside sources. Kevin Feige now controls the comics as well.

So of course they would put Rogue in Captain Marvel 2.

Honestly, I’d love for Mystique, Destiny, Rogue, and the rest of the superior Brotherhood lineup, turns out to be pawns of Marcus/Immortus/Kang. Clearly I don’t want to see the gross rape scene, but it’d be a nice maneuver to bring in Kang for the next Avengers epic storyline...unless they’re going with a Kree/Skrull war for the big universe event movie.

Well I'll repeat I would love them to do a film just about Raven/Irene/Anna Marie. Kind of like exploring from their perspective as rebellious outlaw mutants.

I would DIE for the adventures of Rogue and her two moms. Mystique in the Fox movies wad either a cool henchman or Xavier's BFF. Give me badass terrorist Mystique fighting against the government with her two favourite gals.

Although I'd rather something like the Rogue/Mystique/Destiny Brotherhood be tackled in a Disney+ show than as a subplot in another character's movie.

Ana de Armas would be a great Rogue. If she could get the Southern accent down, but she has proven herself to be a talented actress.

Um, I think we should be aiming for a teenaged actress. Full grown contemporary Rogue isn't even as old as Ana, and we should probably start at the beginning with Rogue's arc as a teenaged runaway taken in by Raven/Irene.

I'm not sure about Moretz as Rogue (could see it going either way), but I really like the idea of Sarah Paulson and (I'm assuming) Holland Taylor as Mystique and Destiny
