It's a great movie, I liked it so much I watched it for a second time a few days after watching it first. I was very annoyed to find it had no UK Blu-ray release.

This is why the new MK movie frustrated me so much.

A lot of Asian movies have brutal, hard hitting fighting scenes with relatively small budgets.

The new MK movie had a bigger budget and still we got very average to below average fight scenes in a fighting game movie.

If you haven't checked out Warrior on Netflix, please do so. Here is one of my favorite fights, Ah Sahm vs. Leary. It's pretty, it's brutal, it's amazing!

I've warmed up to this scene in recent years. Initially, I wanted it to be a scene where the fighters weren't on a moving vehicle, but seeing the techniques and the movement, I appreciate it more now. Check out this scene from the Shang-Chi movie:
