Another favorite scene from Mortal Kombat. This was a great introduction to the Hong Kong style of martial arts fight choreography. Fast paced, in your face, aggression:

Wanted to post this in here before it's taken down. This is a scene from Ip Man 4. Yes, it's a Kung Fu vs. Karate scene, but the emotions behind it are pretty raw. That's the thing about Ip Man 4, the fighting was cool, but it got better because of the storytelling and themes.

In any case, this scene has a lot going for it. My favorite part is not so much Ip Man, but the fighter before him, Sifu Chiang. The first Kung Fu master to get some solid hits on the big, bad Karate guy is a woman who uses an internal style. Honestly, I cried when I first saw that. A female internal arts practitioner does battle with the angry, bigoted Karate guy. A gentle art of Kung Fu can stand up against big brutish strength. Of course, the tears really came when Ip Man finished the Karate master off.

Speaking of which, the actor who plays the Karate master, Chris Collins, is one of the best practitioners of Wing Chun out there! Honestly, I love his style because it's very effective and no-nonsense. Guy has done seminars with military units, like those in the Philippines, for years! Check him out, he's awesome!

Not one fight per se, but just a cool complilation of fights featuring Hawkeye. And yes, for me, Hawkeye's feats could be fights.

Loved this scene. Batroc is one of my favorite underrated Marvel Comics villains. Yeah, he's depicted as a chump because he's always beaten by Cap. But the very fact that he hangs with Cap means this guy has to be one of the best fighters out there! The simplicity of this scene, the fact that it's just man to man, and the fact that Cap takes off the helmet and faces Batroc as a man, is cool. Plus Cap speaking French is awesome. Think it goes back to his days of WWII working with the French resistance.

One of the best fight scenes from arguably the best TMNT movie. Turtles are having fun and are full of confidence until the Shredder just floats in like a badass. And he's still a badass as he schools all of the turtles with Leo the only one able to land a cut.

It's a great movie, I liked it so much I watched it for a second time a few days after watching it first. I was very annoyed to find it had no UK Blu-ray release.
