The whole reason for introducting NIghtwing was for him to somewhat be more his own Hero and have his own issues. If anything wouldn't that make more since if he was able to not be much in the Batfam comics? Rather Teen Titans?

I mean I prefer him in the Titans if that is what you mean? I do think that he should show up to help the Batfamily, but I appreciate that he go with the Titans who will treat him as more friends and teammates.
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
He's part of both worlds. I don't think one should be emphasized over another, although the comics have certainly had issue with this in the past.
Teen Titans as main, but popping up in the Bat Books every so often.
The issue seems maybe DC doesn't respect Dick has his own person. Yea he is part of the Batfam but it seems he is more of an only past Robin right now and less of his own hero. With the Teen Titans, it felt more of he is his own hero
Honestly, I'd still pick Batman.
The Titans franchise has been a disaster for a long, long time. I don't want him more involved in that mess. When was the last time Dick got anything good or positive in the comics from the Teen Titans franchise? Like when was the last time there was a good Dick Titans story? I honestly can't recall. At least with the Batman family Dick occasionally stumbles into good stories or runs when DC isn't out trying to undermine his title or cramming him into crossovers.
If the goal is to establish Nightwing as a independent, solo hero, then you don't want to push him primarily as part of either IP, but rather as his own.
He's always going to be a Bat, and there's tons and tons of reasons that shouldn't be forgotten. Aside from the business sense of keeping Dick connected to comics' biggest property, this is where Dick came from. This was his home for most of his history. But the Titans shouldn't be ignored. Even though the franchise isn't worth much these days, they open doors for Dick into genres and themes Gotham can't, they're a big part of his character and history, and it's not like the franchise is completely Z-list, their glory days are behind them as a group but they're still a solid, well liked IP.
Dick can help out Bruce in Gotham, hang with his friends in the Titans, and still be built up as a solo hero with his own mythos. The idea that he's got to be a Titan or a Bat is a false start; that kinda thinking will tie him to other IP's, not help him grow his own.
"We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another, as if we were one single tribe."
~ Black Panther.
I don't really keep up with the Titans and have no real interest to, so Batfam. That way he's in something I give a damn about.
Titans. Just write them better.
The issue is Dc hasn’t truly been using him well. His solo series isn’t at the best and his cameos or rather supporting role characters be questionable. At times it feels they do a better job using him than his own series can.
Well, Nightwing was created for the Titans, because Robin was still the half part of "Batman and". So, if you ask me, the Titans. He can go help the Batfam when needed, but the Titans are his team, his chosen family.
Of course, a good Titans book needs a good writer and a clear direction. I'd love to have Higgins, or Seeley, or Priest on it.
Both. Just by Dick's personality, it doesn't make sense for him to be exclusively on one side or the other.
He used to be mainly on Titans because he had a falling out with Bruce, but adult Dick should be the type who can leave Bludhaven for a while to babysit Bruce and Damian while calling Wally or Donna to fill in, and vice versa, left Bludhaven to Damian, Tim or Cass for a while while he went on a Titans business. Maybe just Cass since Damian and Tim also have their own team now.
I often wonder this one has nothing to do with this one. Should Dick have another falling out? Then again Rick something is doing that since he has not memories
