Black Canary. <3
I'm piggy backing of Pinsir and just doing all of them in 1 post.
30s - Superman
40s - Dick Grayson as Robin
50s - Captain Cold
60s - Zatanna
70s - Swamp Thing
80s - Dick Grayson as Nightwing
90s - Bane, Kyle Rayner
00s - Dick Grayson as Batman
10s - Dick Grayson as Agent of Spyral
Ok, I kid:
30s - Superman
40s - Dick Grayson
50s - Captain Cold
60s - Zatanna
70s - Swamp Thing
80s - Vixen
90s - Bane
00s - Jamie Reyes
10s - Starling
40s and 60s are loaded...easily the 2 toughest decades for me. Well, 60s was just down to Elongated Man and Zatanna. 90s were similar w/ just 2 tough ones between Bane and Kyle Rayner. But the 40s...like half of my top 10 favorite DC characters are from the 40s!
Comics were definitely happier, breezier and more confident in their own strengths before Hollywood and the Internet turned the business of writing superhero stories into the production of low budget storyboards or, worse, into conformist, fruitless attempts to impress or entertain a small group of people who appear to hate comics and their creators. -- Grant Morrison, 2008
trade-waiting - Ice Cream Man, Monstress
backlog - Blade of the Immortal, Mignolaverse, Promethea, X-Cutioner's Song
I'd have to go with Wonder Woman, Black Canary and Captain Marvel Jr. And a favorite among these three? I guess probably BC. Love her costume and time with the JSA.
Killer Moth!
Edit ...I think some other Bat-characters came out in the 40s, too?
Robin, The Boy Wonder.
"The more 'realistic' superheroes become the less believable they are." - David Mazzucchelli
1. Robin
2. The Spectre
3. Wonder Woman
4. Doctor Fate
5. Alan Scott
And the winner here is Wonder Woman.
