scenario 1: The living tribunal decides to fix things for thor as best he can by going back in time alter things so thor has a different father than Odin that will know how to handle him, all the while putting odin in his place, with the person he chooses to be Odins father giving odin a peace of his mind.

scenario 2: same as above only you choose who deals with thor, odin and asgard.

Thor is such a strong personality, you'd need a skyfather-type to even begin to handle him. Any less than that and Thor would dominate his dad without even intending to.

So if not Odin, someone like Zeus. Not sure Thor would turn out any different, though.

Even Living Tribunal can't alter the personal karma of Thor and Odin. He could blast them, imprison them, devolve them to worms and all that jazz, but their 'personal essence' would remain the same, and so too the conflicts between two supremely powerful divine personalities.

I guess LT could change them on the level of their soul. Thanos once said the Soul Gem could make sinners of saints and vice versa, and LT is mightier than any Infinity Gem. But then they wouldn't be Thor and Odin any more, so it's a Catch-22, beyond even LT's abilities.
