I'm trying to figure out why Mystique gets so much love. She is straight up a terrible person, always out to screw everyone overs for lols. Which would be awful if she was any good at enacting her numerous revenge plots, because her effectiveness rating must be a D+ or lower.

It's not that we love Mystique, it's that it's really hard to justify what's happening to her when you have Apocalypse and Sinister being allowed to walk around like it's nothing.

She and Destiny are a great way to explore just how fucked up this situation is.

The avengers created two unity squads (both led by the X-men) for the express purpose of never again staying blind to the plight of mutants. It's been NINE YEARS since AvX.

And that actually really sucks! I feel like I'm losing my mind here! It's one thing to suspect hypocrisy on that scale, it's another thing to see it out there so baldly stated. I don't want Charles to be a bad guy, and I don't want Krakoa to be a carrot under a drop-down box trap for mutants.
