Lightbulb X-Force #7 Lady Luck review *spoilers*

Starts off from the preview with Sage, not cosplaying as Jubilee for the first time since she got on Krakoa telling Domino about lots of lucky assassinations. Domino knows her luck has left her and someone else is using it.

Cue a data page about Beast and his desire for spying rocks.

Domino is out running and meets Colossus, both having been damaged recently by events, and both wondering if it was all worth it (and the years of therapy they'll need)

Sage, back to Jubilee form tells of another assassination which has happened but is able to pinpoint where the next one will take place thanks to Google™ Earth.

Domino goes, prevents the latest target from being killed and does her best James Bond impression chasing after the would be assassin. She gets lucky and they flee into a Casino (obviously).

End page seems to reveal that the assassin is inverse Domino and I'm guessing that will be a plot point addressed at some further point in time.

This was a great spotlight of Domino and her current mindset, the trauma she has lived through thus far and her determined personality. I always forget how much I like her. She really should be top tier X-Man at this point. Percy continues to provide the best characterisation of all the DoX books, with strong support from Sage and Colossus. Oh and there's also a data page from Beast where he feels threatened by some Russian on a piece of burnt paper.

    11 out of 11 Percys!

Inverse Domino confused me. Like a lot.

The rest amazed me because it flowed so nicely and was so very cool.

I'm sensing the boards trembling at the idea of Beast putting spy-tech in every major place in the MU.

Beast want his own reality show.

Very specific issue but accordingly to a team book, glad to see interactions between other mutants forming their own bonds without the most popular characters.

I don’t remember him being dead! The Marauders brought him and some refugees back and he was badly injured, but not dead.

I didn't either. He looked like he was in a sort of coma and was brought in the Garden, I think.

Its a retcon bc Kitty brought him to Krakoa alive. There was no one reacting to him being dead nor was that a thing

    How outstanding is this book?

Piotr looked incredible and I feel bad for the big bear.

Beast’s entries were very interesting, especially about the ringing rocks.
    Anyone translate the Russian word?
Seeing more mutant sympathizers was nice and I appreciate Professor Owsley.

Dom’s successful detective work and the action scenes *chef’s kiss*

So it seems they recreated Domino. Those asshats!

I was thinking maybe he died while recovering, although one would think that's something important to show.
