Knowing Gambit's history with •A•, it makes perfect sense for him to be wary. What doesn't make sense is why Rogue isn't empathetic to that *at all*.

Yeah so I actually like the art on this more than To. Who I think is clean and nice art but cartoony.

I wanted to see more interaction with Betsy, Apoc, and Exodus or the Quiet Council. And we got a little here.

A lot of Tini Howard dialogue just doesnt sound right to me. But I'm glad most of you are liking this title.

There was no problem with the child being human, is silly that writers cant do anything with babys, why bringing him with her ? (from the point of view of the writer)

Wow, being able to tell Shogo (and Hope, too?) is a mutant or not before puberty and the X-gene activation... not that new, I suppose.
But it kinda hurts all the arguments based on "oh it comes out of nowhere, no one can tell who's about to explode their body and who's replacing humanity."
I guess testing all humanoids during ages 0-10 is basically a Mutant Registration Act, though.

Another chapter of "I really want to like this book, but":

Rogue was awful.

Gambit was awful and incompetent.

Jubilee is irrelevant.

This summerizes all of my feelings. This book has been so poor and uninteresting, despite a cast of characters that I really like.

Slight downgrade in the art, not as pretty as To's issues. I think mostly the inks & colors don't seem to make it all pop sumptously like the last few issues.

I don't think the writer of the book is going out of their way to troll a characters fanbase. That is reaching.
