Not just the song but the whole performance of "Brotherhood of Man" in the 1967 movie HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, based on the Broadway musical and starring much of the cast from the original stage production, in particular the sublime Robert Morse. There's something about this goofy song and dance number that gets me in the feels. The way the scene is blocked, the little bits of business in the scene and the way that all these men and one woman are willing to do anything, unashamedly make themselves look ridiculous, for the sake of the scene. I watch it very often and I'm always inspired. I think of this as humanity's greatest achievement.

A song to offer us encouragement in these troubled times. The melody was written by Charlie Chaplin and used in the soundtrack of his 1936 film Modern Times. The lyrics were added by a couple of songwriters in 1954. You may also remember Jimmy Durante's rendition of it from the soundtrack of the Joker movie. Here it is as performed by Judy Garland, who seems to be singing it from her own life experiences.

One of the greatest storytellers of our time (that you never heard of) is Đorđe Balašević.
His use of different music styles (Pop, Rock, Waltz, Chanson, Folk, Big Band, Ballads and yes, Rap too among many others) is unique in the world of singer-songwriters. They help him accentuate his poetic lyrics inspired by politics, romanticism, social matters and quite often humor. Not the best example of his craft, but it is the only song he performs in English. Jokingly, he had this tune written for the Eurovision Song Contest. That alone puts a wide grin on my face, and then there is the double entendre. Too bad he never did an English version of his "Im'o sam strasnog petla" (Once I had a famous Rooster) song. So I guess, this'll do.

I would add "RIP, Keith Moon", except that he was far too much a wild man ever to do so.

I'm pretty hyped for Money Heist getting released tomorrow on Netflix.
The theme song, made famous in this TV series, usually doesn't cheer me up. However, the fact that these lovable antagonists are coming back for the 4th season does.
Therefore, this version (to me the best of all the different ones out there, including few other Milva performances of the same tune) does get me... giddy.

Oh, Jimmy... I think I watched those romance movies in the 80s and 90's just to hear his music. Most others my age didn't know who he was and one day I said, "Remember the song from Frosty?" and they were like "Oooh , yeah!" Lol. Loved Burl Ives and Nat as well thanks to Christmas movies/specials.

I assume you are not referring to the 1958 song by that same name, written and performed by David Seville (Ross Bagdasarian), who later that same year created Alvin and the Chipmunks?

I'm not aware of a 1958 song by that name but then I'm not that familiar with that decade musically. And yes the song I'm talking about does have Oo ee oo aa aa, ting tang walla walla bing bang in it.
