Like I was talking about elsewhere, people might hate Metal here but it’s selling. No surprise they’re going all in with tie ins.
So I guess one of those crazy one-shots will be by Bryan Hitch

So today we learn the Robin King’s origin, over in Dark Nights: Death Metal: Legends Of The Dark Knights #1, which who he is interesting given his role as Batman who laughs favorite Robin. Though I’ll be honest, his kind of story was expected from the Dark Multiverse and not just by me but I’m sure by a lot of people. I’ll talk more later on the subject because it’s still early in the day and I’d rather not spoil it right away.

It's just a Bruce Wayne that went evil earlier then the other Bruce Waynes in the story. Oh what an exciting departure from what we have come to expect.

that’s why I said it’s an expected story, a young sociopath Bruce Wayne. It is entirely predictable, but it wasn’t written poorly so I was okay with it. Besides the story was in a one-shot telling stories specifically about evil Bruce’s/Batmen, so I’m not going to knock it for being an evil Bruce story.
I’m more surprised it is a young evil Bruce, and not an evil Dick, Jason, Tim, or Damian. Besides that it is predictable in a way.

He's one sick & twisted little puppy.
This is a joke. I thought Death Metal was supposed to be a Diana event but Synder just can't help himself. Can't say I blame DC green lighting this event though. Market demands for TBWL so that's what we get.
I'm pretty sure nobody at DC has ever heard a death metal record.
