THE GREEN LANTERN SEASON TWO #4

Might skip Batgirl if it's a Joker tie in thing.

Quite a bit in the solicits that I’lol be picking up. But the book that intrigues me the most, that I definitely will check out is Man-bat. This is an unexpected solicit, that along with the facsimile edition is a def buy.

Way to pleasantly surprise me DC.

Looking at those GL covers on my computer and not my phone, I'll be getting Nicola Scott's 1940s variant and Sharp's main one. I'm a simple man. I see Alan Scott in his classic costume on the cover and I buy it.

I was hoping they'd get Kevin Maguire for the '80s Guy cover, but alas, Finch was channeling Liefeld.

Weird, that seems like a last minute change which has me skeptical.

    Definitely:

    RED HOOD: OUTLAW #46
    BATMAN & THE OUTSIDERS #13
RED HOOD: OUTLAW VOL. 3: GENERATION OUTLAW TP

    Probably:

GREEN LANTERN 8OTH ANNIVERSARY 100-PAGE SUPER SPECTACULAR #1 (1940s variant cover by NICOLA SCOTT)

    Maybe:

    THE DREAMING: WAKING HOURS #1
    EVENT LEVIATHAN: CHECKMATE #2

I'm surprised that Newsarama didn't include the 1940s variant cover by NICOLA SCOTT. It looks amazing.

I wonder if the JSA 80th Anniversary will be called the 'JLA 80th Anniversary'.

Looking at the Green Lantern 80th Anniversary...
It appears that Hal Jordan and the GLC are the primary focus.

Seeing the DCAU Batman not in his normal animated proportions is a bit bizarre. I mean, he just looks like the comic version of Batman and it is strange to think that he is the DCAU version.

I am excited about the Green Lantern 80th anniversary issue. I will probably get the 2000's variant.

Supergirl, after it was brought back, was completely mishandled. All her stories were related to other events that happened in the DC universe and she didn't get any stories where she had a direct impact on why it was happening. Kara deserved better.
