I’m happy to see the Hunger Games prequel doing well because Rachel Zegler had seemingly become public enemy #1 with the anti-woke crowd and Disney super fans because of her comments regarding the upcoming Snow White flick. Plus she’s a brown Snow White (the horror!).

Snow White may very well tank but now she has another franchise to fall back on.

Snow White is that made Disney become famous, they just got to do it right.

I don't see Rachel Zegler resemble the role, not sure why was she cast. Lily Collins was much better.

I don't care any about Snow White but Zegler is part of what stuck with me from the Shazam sequel so I'm all for her getting credit for this movie, it was kind of flying under the radar this year.

Thanksgiving has done well. Its made its budget back and as a new possible horror launching franchise , its gonna rock about $30-40 million domestically by the time its over.

The Hunger Games deal is one where the studio themselves made sure they didn't have a lot to lose involved in it. They basically had outside investors pick up some of the tab for the international grosses percentage wise from what I read.

“ Well hell just froze over. Because CM Punk is back in the WWE.” - Jcogginsa.

I'd celebrate Thanksgiving more but Spyglass are involved with it and I'm still sour on the current Scream revival cast being flushed down the toilet.

Spyglass is learning a hard lesson on that.

Honestly ...just rest that franchise awhile is my take. Concentrate on new ones like Thanksgiving and other ones to do.

The hilarious thing about Zegler becoming Public Enemy #1 among these guys is that Zegler is actually a weird nerd. I assumed when she began her career ascent she'd be beloved by weirdos because it was one of their own!

    Shows how much I know!

Didn't she have a war with the Chinese fans?

The whole reaction was dumb, she could have given explanations rather than post middle finger pics.

Five Nights at Freddy's is approaching $300 million worldwide. It might not actually reach it, but besides being the biggest Blumhouse movie already, it's currently ahead of (to pick recent enough examples) Lightyear, The Marvels and Terminator Dark Fate (which had Arnie and Linda Hamilton returning to their iconic roles), just to remind how much times have changed or might be changing right now.

The Napoleon film is 200 million dollars plus marketing and it will not make a profit or break even.

I'm sure Apple doesn't weepingly mind here, especially when the press is all about Wish splattering off Napoleon to land on 3rd place, and in fact ending behind Napoleon both domestically and internationally for the current weekend, and please remind how much Wish cost and how Disney Thanksgiving blockbusters usually perform, against live action movies or otherwise. The stat looks brutal from what little I've seen.

Didn't it just come out? It's made almost 100 million that's still pretty good regardless.

The Marvels potentially not making 100 million domestically is legitimately insane to me

    Why is it a surprise?
    1. Ppl are getting bored of superheroes.
    2. This one wasn't really awesome on quality. No cool fight/popular characters, no romance so it's tough to attract both genders. The first one made 1b due to Avengers 3.
