So does anyone think Wakanda Forever will reach a billion? I think its gonna be close. Its ahead of Multiverse of Madness at same time. But its hard to tell what it will do international next few weeks. If I was to bet, im going to say yes. But its going to be a a close one. I think ultimately the holidays will help Wakanda.

Hard to say, it seems to do better domestically but not so great internationally.

And Having the World Cup going on is of course not helping the international box office.

Another reason Qatar shouldn't have got the cup!

This World Cup has less viewers then the World Cups before that. Its highly unpopulair. The opening games the last World and European Cups had around 25 Million viewers in average, Germany alone. This year it was just 9,25 Million viewers in our country.

But I guess the World Cup still takes away a bit of the Box office.

International (without China and Russia) is actually making up a bigger percentage of the total for BP2 than it did for BP. The first one was a cultural phenomenon in the US more than the rest of the world, but doesn't seem to have the same cultural impact and energy this year.

But International is still below Domestic Box Office, and the movie has seemed already to have oped in all the major markets it is going to open in.

Multiverse of Madness made more money international than domestic, and that also didn't got a China release.

Good thing MoM and Wakanda Forever were such woke successes then.

    How was Lightyear woke?
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Jeez, are there bigots snowflakes. Any small bit of diversity in a movie, and they melt.
    One kiss ruins a movie??

Legendary pictures dumps wb over the hbo max stunt and moves to sony! WB gets to still make gvk 2, dune 2 and dune show already in the works.

    After that--

Top gun 2 coming back to theatres for two weeks.
Netflix was begged before release to get full release by theatres, and they told them to jump into a lake! Now netflix is talking about rereleasing it back to theatres AFTER it comes on netflix!
