Detective Comics had a really good Killer Croc story a couple months back before Infinite Crisis, showed the human side of Croc...and Batman as well.

I love Gerry Conway for his work on the Legion, but I am unfamiliar with his pre crisis Batman work...that being said...I understand the desire of wanting the authentic character you first read though, I'm the same way.

He hasn't been quite as badly overused as Joker has been over the past several years.

Yep. I've had enough of Joker as I prefer villains like Bane who generally have a smaller amount of appearances but that hit hard.

You also have some people who refuse to support the most popular of... well, anything. If the Riddler were #1, some of those Nygma votes would be going elsewhere.

Conway Killer Croc was awesome. If they ever did a movie about someone trying to unite and take over the Gotham crime families, I'd much prefer Killer Croc inspired by this version over the honestly really boring Black Mask.
