hmmm Batman's true worst enemy? Bruce Wayne.
I feel like the Scarecrow has really jumped to first-tier villain in the past 15 years or so, especially in other media, which is now reflected in the comics. I've always enjoyed him, so I'm onboard.
I think it started in Arkham Knight, but now Titans also has him as a major antagonist. I like him there, even if it's a slightly unorthodox approach. Out of everything in that show, he seems to work well.
Well, you had asked if no one wanted to mention She-Bat. I think his response was more along the lines of "Why would anyone have mentioned She-Bat, quaternary villain?" rather than "Why would you mention a villain not on the poll?"
Had you mentioned Black Mask, for example, the response would have been different.
He could have been more explicit, then. Besides it's not that far out of bounds since Man Bat is worth mentioning and she is his wife.
"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"
"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"
"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."
Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!
Look you're the one who comes up with things likeBy the way, my response to that last one was:So if you read my explanation, I'm puzzled as to why you think that was "snippy".
Heck, I sometimes have problems thinking of Man-Bat as a "villain" because he was also portrayed as a hero often in the pre-New 52 stories.
So, you admit your "why" didn't make any sense at all and shouldn't have been there. By your own admission, based on what you bolded, the only point you were making was that you don't think she's a villain. Which is a completely separate point and didn't really need to quote me to be said. I did read your explanation, it just didn't make any sense at all without you providing more context, that's why it was snippy.
I never said that.
(I also didn't say the stuff you inserted in yellow when you "quoted" me.)
Why not?
Since you had expressed displeasure at what I had previously said, I felt it would be beneficial to point out exactly what I said in reply to your post, so quoting what you said also seemed necessary.
My saying she wasn't really portrayed as a villain in the past before the New 52 didn't make any sense?
A bunch of backpedaling and excuses? How about just admitting you were wrong and moving on?
So stop trying to pretend you weren't being snippy when each time you respond you just get snippier, further driving the point home for me.
