I like to see X-force do so well. On this board as well as on the reddit X-men forums you see a lot of love for Percy's X-force but on x-twitter you sort of see the opposite (folks on x-twitter seem to rate X-force just above Fallen Angels). For me, X-force is the best Dawn of X book. It draws me in and it feels like an important book in this new era. I also like Hickman's book and am starting to enjoy Marauders. New Mutants is fun when Hickman writes it. Excalibur is also a fun book for me but I don't enjoy every issue.

Agreed. I've enjoyed Marauders from the beginning but the last 2 issues have raised the bar.

Fallen Angels did better than I expected. There are ongoing who've sold less than this that just kept trudging along

It would have been better if it were the Upstarts. Emma need more screen time. She can carry the line better than Kate.

I’m still surprise people are buying Exacalibur.
For the first arc of Marauders 1 - 4 were written similar to Hickman's X-Men where they stand-alone issues of varying quality. 5 and 6 were a 2-parter with a cliffhanger ending. Most of the complaints here were it being a Kitty solo and she was being written OOC.

Excalibur 1 - 6 was pretty janky. Most of the cast were written weird to fit the story and it felt like some parts of the story were missing at times.

Retails are pretty ups and downs all the time therefore I wouldn't vouch on those general sales that are happening bc most of them depends on the number of variants

Like for instance, Wolverine will be selling huge but mostly due to variants IMO.

it is pre orders. maybe they only sold half of it
If at issue 5 or 6 retailers ordered twice what they need, comic shops would be out of business very fast. I think these are very indicative of actual sales, at this stage there will be the usual attrition but not big changes in sales anymore, for better or worse.

Marauders is basically the lead book of Dawn Of X and everyone needs more Jumbo Carnation in their pull list.

The satellite books are now selling on par with Blue and Gold. Not surprised the people who keep insisting sales are flat compared to pre-Hickman are suddenly quiet now.

Was there ever any doubt that the line was very healthy? Aside from misinformation being spread purposefully to be negative.

Those are books ordered to stores.

It does not say how many someone bought.

so if 20K got bought that still leaves 20K in stores and later bins and later comic con boxes.

True but at this point I think shops have a good handle on how the sales will go based on how previous issues did. No way owners are ordering close to 40K of #5 and #6 if #4 only sold around 20K.

Except Marvel doesn't care about the individual retail numbers...at least not as much as they care about the diamond distribution numbers.
