If I could add to current team I'd add Mercury,Quicksilver, and Shinobi Shaw.

If I were starting from scratch I would not include the Wolverine family.I would prefer a completely new team.I feel like a lot of mutants with powers suited for X force take a back seat always leaving Wolverine and the clones of Wolverine to be the brawlers.
My team would be:

I liked Forge over him in ‘Cable & X-Force’ honestly. Their banter was fun, but Nemesis was a bit annoying at times. To me at least.

I'd love to see how Remender or another X-Force writer who wrote Betsy/Psylocke in the last few years handle Kwannon. Would a writer who wrote Betsy has a conflicted violence junkie do the same thing to Kwannon? I'm not the biggest Cyclops fan but I'd love to see him interact more with this Cable. Especially considering Scott set up one of the X-Force strike teams. I'm throwing in Julian only because I want another snarky telekinetic. He's grown a lot but isn't really used now, plus he & Tabby once got kidnapped together in another X-Force run. Remy's there only to get him away from Rogue for a while & have him do something non Excalibur. I love that they married the characters but since then it's like all their stories are tied. I'd have Tabby & James get involved as an outreach to Cable. Kinda like, "Hey we know you, but like not really." Lorna, I'd have her trying to establish herself as her own person cause it feels like she's gotten the shaft for years now. Sage would mostly be in an Oracle type role, though I'd have an issue in which the team is mostly captured & she has to go into the field. I feel a lot of writers forget she grew up in war torn areas & can handle herself physically if needed.
