By this point, the FF have shown their hostility towards the X-Men on about 5 occasions. That is when the XMen start defending themselves. And even then, Xavier keeps trying to find a pacific solution, while Susan recognizes she would rather solve the conflict through violence and Reed has already taken matters into his own hands by tampering with Franklin D.N.A. The FF actions have been both deplorable and suspicious when they claim to want what is best for Franklin. Anyone defending them is just jiased but that's nothing new.

C'mon. Both sides are being dingus', there's no reason to play the "These guys are being woooorst" game. That's AvX shit right thar.

Here's a fun part: Sebastian Shaw killed Kitty Pryde. Ice Man doesn't know that, he only suspects that some racist humans got her, but suspicion alone allows him to cross onto their boat and MUTILATE them. Severing fingers and toes, and removing skin. Real sadistic stuff. How's this good for anyone's image?

Well, these are the guys that tried killing them two issues before, led by Hate-Monger and X-Cutioner. Racist and murderous.

Donít forget about him walking up to a guy and breaking his arm off. Even Bishop was taken aback and heís been one of the X-Men who will cross certain lines. Honestly comparing how theyíve acted towards enemies the past 50+ years to now, they really seem to like stretching the bylaws of no killing humans as far as they can. Feels less like itís necessary and more so just because they can.

Why act like the Fantastic Four hasn’t been on good terms with the X-Men, Magneto included?

But you have to include the whole story. They're all paid for by Verendi to kill mutants, Bishop got the intel from a local. You and I know they would have attempted to kill Bishop (and failed) while he was trying to retrieve the body of his friend. They also were responsible for this:

Some of those babies are crying.

So my question is, how do you get someone to stop trying to kill you, and children, when killing them is out of the question?

The X-Men (and numerous heroes) have dealt with this kind of people before and didn’t resort to that level of violence. In this instance, this wasn’t about the children. This was about revenge though mistakenly at the wrong target. Besides, do you honestly think that’s going to stop them from what they’re doing? If anything, it’s only gonna spur them further.

And that mostly resulted in exploding school busses and genocide. I agree that Bobby was indeed extreme and it was bad to rip off that guys arm, but I think that using violence on these guys is not that villainous. Plus the X-Men have never been that much against violence, especially since Decimation.

Unfortunately we saw during Rosecanny that the mutants no longer have the authorities on their side. In the past they would tie up the "crooks" and call the police or Avengers. Now mutants are killed on the streets and the killers get to play video games at home. So what options are available now?

Bobby helped save the children, fought off the mercenaries, thought it was done then is told his friend is dead, arrives on the scene as Bishop is about to get killed. This is why the mutants are acting extreme in some cases because *they* won't stop coming for the mutants. At some point you have to find a way to get them to stop.

Funny how people act like the last time the Fantastic Four and X-Men interacted wasn't Scott condescending to them while helping known criminals and psychopaths get away with plans stolen from Reed before not so subtly implying that eventually the X-Men are gonna come for Franklin.
Which they're doing in this story.

Or, if you read the comics and not just fast read them, he was helping mutants get back info to Krakoa about Orchis building a Mother Mold that would have erased mutants from existence. Using some of Stark and Richards patents to do that, too.

Or the fact that since the US signed the treaty recognizing Krakoa's autonomy and all of its citizens, the FF are potentially breaking the law by denying Franklin access to the island.
