Petty but true. I think it will be a while before she will be in a film from the looks of things. The next wave doesn't appear to have much to do with the X-Men. So sad. But then Fox eventually crapped out on all their Marvel properties. Dark Phoenix was the death knell. And don't get me started on that last Fantastic Four movie with crash test dummy Doom.

So yes the Avengers do look more callous when they don't get involved, It is literally their job to protect the world.

Freakin' love how we're skipping literal decades of the Avengers and others WANTING to help, but being told:

"It's a mutant issue, the X-Men will handle it!

"Outsiders wouldn't understand, the X-Men will take care of it!"

"Mutants take care of mutants."

If the Avengers plow through, they're being arrogant and insensitive. If they respect their wishes, they're calous and irresponsible. Woooo, mutie politics.
