No. Al Ewing has the immortal hulk series planned out to #50. The “happy ending” is just so they can build the hulk up before literally knocking him down in the next issue, judging by the cover...

I hope that more new characters get created for mini series and ongoings. Marvel needs new characters.

Are all these people who claim they have no interest in Empyre actually going to skip the event?? There's nothing wrong with not being interested in any one given book but it's pretty comical seeing some folks somehow knowing every detail of books they profess to hate or have no interest in the very week these books drop.

My usual pulls (Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Spider-Woman, Cap, Iron Man and X-Men) plus the Squadron Supreme. That will be the only Empyre I will be reading. Marvels because Kurt Busiek did a phenomenal job with Astro City.

Well it looks like I will still be getting Marvel Action Avengers. It’s a fun little read.
"We live in a world of cowards. We live in a world full of small minds who are afraid. We are ruled by those who refuse to risk anything of their own. Who guard their over bloated paucities of power with money. With false reasoning. With measured hesitance. With prideful, recalcitrant inaction. With hateful invective. With weapons. F@#K these selfish fools and their prevailing world order." Tony Stark

Tony Daniel’s doing some variant covers. I wonder if that means he might be doing something for Marvel.
