    Ugh, the sheer number of Empyre tie-ins is obscene. I hope that Marvel didn't bet the farm on this event. Could get ugly is comic stores are left holding stacks of unsold inventory.

    If it weren't for Marvel's endless stream of useless events, what would comic shops stock their quarter bins with??

    No. Al Ewing has the immortal hulk series planned out to #50. The “happy ending” is just so they can build the hulk up before literally knocking him down in the next issue, judging by the cover...
