Like a little boy who is playing a building game and… BOOM? With a joyful laughter.

the only ones who would be laughing are the people who have been waiting for it since the jump. Which is I guess the only reason they keep reading

Have in mind that the X-Men are in film limbo for now, but in a couple of years Marvel will want to make their own films about them. And they will probably want to do it with a new twist, making it clear that those would not be the Fox's X-Men. So what about Krakoa? If they do that, we'll have Krakoa in comics forever.

Well, Genosha, before being Magneto's kingdom, was a very different kind of island.
Statu quo, in comics, doesn't last. Otherwise, there would be no stories to tell.
Drama… this is the hype (at least, Claremont's drama was about the characters, human-sized drama).

Krakoa (what an ugly name…) can still exist, but could become something very different.

The current Krakoa status quo would be an incredibly stupid place to start the X-men in the MCU.

This completely ignores the bigger issues people have with Krakatoa. Since when did X-men embracing super-villains become "good?" Should they have just joined Apoclaypse's cults, Mr. Sinister's Marauders and the Brotherhood when they appeared instead?

Do you want these villains to be the face of the X-men? They are now.

They aren't X-Men they're Krakoans. Every American isn't an Army Ranger.

Krakatoa is built on an alliance between the X-men and their greatest adversaries. They are the government at the highest levels, like in the Quiet Council - which Xavier, Kitty, Emma Frost, Storm, Nightcrawler, Cypher and Jean grey are members of. Apocalypse and Sinister didn't simply team up with the Hellfire Club to crate Krakatoa.

You can't condemn supervillains on krakoa+list the mistreatment of one as a grievance lol Future storylines? that makes little sense as they may not even happen. That's an opinion not shared by most readers, but okay. And what krakoan laws have they implemented that is cause for alarm?

Kinda hilarious that Hickman has planted so many story seeds but everyone just interprets them as the end of Krakoa.

"Oh look! Something interesting. I guess this is the end of Krakoa"
