The fact that Bendis wanted us to sympathize with those who wanted to eliminate / kill Matthew Malloy instead of with whom wanted to help him control his powers is still something worth studying.

The fact that Mathew Malloy was even a character worth analysis in itself.

Anyway, it's between Frankie and Davey.

It's also funny that Jean is supposedly the greatest telepath, according to Hickman "clarification" datapage yet Nate Grey and Exodus completely dismissed her in the past. And as a child Franklin blocked three Celestials from telepathincally scanning him...
Hickman's contributions to streamline the Omega concept haven't really set things straight...

With the exception of Proteus who is a being of pure energy can't the other Omegas all be killed with a bullet to the head? And Proteus himself has a weakness to metal which is abundant everywhere. Futher doesn't the term Omega simply imply unlimited "potential"? Meaning its possible to reach that level of power but not a guarantee. Not everyone reaches their full potential.

Invulnerability is not a requirement for someone to be powerful. Just because they can die like anyone else doesn't take away from their power.
They could trip down a flight of stairs and die, still doesn't change the fact that they are omega.

Well all the humans have to do is snipe them with head shots and its game over. Being all-powerful means nothing if you're dead. The only real worry for humans is the resurrection protocols because the omegas can be brought back, find a way to eliminate that option and its an even playing field.

I think he has because of Moira,we can safely presume all those happened in the other lives not this one.The only confusion is how Kid Omega and Jean are omegas by the same criterion.Maybe there are sub categories like conscious mind telepathy as opposed to subconscious mind telepathy but that is up for speculation.

I tend to agree, omega level mutants do have certain weaknesses to make them more interesting.I think in that regard the resurrection protocols are the main obstacle, though I think killing one of the 5 would go a long way to weaken Krakoa.I presume bringing back a mutant without say Tempus would not be insurmountable but difficult.Xeno should look into this lol.Another tricky but viable option is trying to using technology make contact and bring through Mad Jim Jaspers or his creation the furies by Orchis(his version of nimrods..apparently it is presumed he is vulnerable to them,so if true a machine to kill mutants created by an omega mutant is something to fear, they seem more powerful than Nimrod) Now that would be an outsourcing an 'enemy of my enemy' in a Faustian pact

I think reality warpers are failsafes in the universe to reset realities if writers want an out
The way i see it, the powers must come with a price.

It should be hard for them to use the high end feats. If they are not carefull they could fucked up reality.

Remember Marquis of Death, an AU mutant, eventually he killed everyone in his reality because he disassociated himself from humans and mutants.

    Being All-powerfull can be tricky.

    I see three different levels...

    Intergalactic: Franklin Richards

Universal: Reality warpers. Someone like Mr M could maybe go higher since he's only been in one story.

Planetary: Psychics and elementals. Jean, Magneto, Storm, Iceman...

This is another question, the X-Gene works like switch in them? In mutants like Kate, Colossus and Iceman, it seems to be this way.

If the Switch is off you can snipe them and if is on, you cant.

Then you have Logan, Beast, Toad ect...which are always "activated".

Key words...in the past. Jean recently projected all of the hurt Nate was inflicting directly into his mind...a Nate that was boosted by the Life Seed at that.

Jean caught the attention of the Phoenix Force as a young child...and again when she fought beyond the ravages of extreme radiation poisoning to save her friends, defying death itself for a few moments

She has an innate connection to the Phoenix Force, which itself is connected to the M'Kraan crystal(nexus of all realities) and the White Hot Room within.

Phoenix represents the ultimate extension of Jean's abilities...X-Men Forever showed that Jean as Phoenix represents the an early example of the seeds of potential
planted in humanity to eventually evolve into the abstracts, and replace them

I would have liked to see her as Omega TK because she manifested molecular TK in the past, but I guess that with the "Keen upgrades" she might be a more powerful TP now (shouldn't she have the pink form power now plus a lot more memories from training with Emma, Betsy etc.?)
