You guys are blowing my Kurtty buzz! haha. jk.
Excuse me, but I've got still last 10 pages of the thread left to read, I'm really behind the conversation.
Yeah, I always loved this facet too, 'cause it shows that Kurt is not simply a 'kind soul' but a person with faults (temper, in this case, or maybe even a bit of cruelty) that works wittingly in being a fair person. CC wrote and writes about it with his legendary sensitivity.
OH PLEEEEEEEEEASE!!! <3 <3 <3
I do believe Kurt has called Kitty "Katya" before but it was like it was this time..a mistake by the writer.
And I was sort of jk Sundowhn...but it's sort of correct..I would have rather seen "Fuzzy" and "Katzchen" used.
It's so good to see you back RR. I will be patiently savoring your comments as you catch up
I am soooo devoted to the brightside perspective right now...after NC #5 and all this great random K.Darkholme love coming from fans I never knew shared my AoA Kurt fandom; I have enough fuel in my hopefullness tank to roll on by BMB's faux pas!
Ah Jinx...I don't think Bachelo was trying to portray anything but genuine heartfelt relief and affection in Kurt's face. It has been such a long time since Fuzzy hugged his Katzchen. RW did have a way of tugging at those heartstrings though.
I agree Chief...it stings a little though...to think that both BMB and the editorial staff wouldn't just simply know better
"Did I call you Katya back there"
"Yea, you did Fuzzy"
"I was thinking about Piotr when I saw you...and, I miss our family Katzchen"
"We've missed you too Kurt...I haven't thought of us that way in a long time. But now, with you back..."
"We'll always be family. No matter how divided we may seem, we're family. A very dysfunctional family."
(hug)
"So when you were in Heaven was the Professor there?"
"Ja, he told me not to come back"
"He's such a jerk."
"The evidence is hard to ignore..."
lol. (there are folks here who could fix this way better than me)

Just thought I'd drop the preview to Nightcrawler # 6 off!

I wonder what CC's reaction would be to those Kurt/Kitty Panels. I'm sure he would love the sentiment but facepalm at the "Elf" "Katya" thing.
I did some Bess research and posted it over in Chia's preview thread but wanted to share it here too.
#6 already feels like a full-sailed winner!
The origins of Bloody Bess?:
images.jpgBloody Bess was conceived by Stuart Gordon in 1974 for his Organic Theatre Company, in those days listing among its personnel such present-day luminaries as Joe Mantegna and Dennis Franz. More than two decades later, this legendary Chicago classic, written by John Ostrander and William J. Norris, is enjoying a revival under the auspices of Red Hen Productions.
This swashbuckling tale of murder on the high seas in the "golden age of piracy" recounts the story of Miss Elizabeth Presberty, imprisoned and held for ransom by pirates until she discovers her "rescuers" to be even more corrupt than her captors—a revelation that transforms her into a ruthless virago thirsty for revenge on the duplicitous Reynard Eaton, an ambitious naval officer not above withholding medication from the dying Governor Presberty or forcing marriage on his daughter ( after raping her, of course ) . The freebooters who assist her include another woman, one Annie Bailey, in addition to an African ship's captain calling himself Jesu N'Gali. http://www.chicagoreader.com/chicago...ent?oid=909759
