I hate to be that person especially since Chris Hasan reads the board and often rants about us on twitter, but this one was a little disappointing. Too much talk about Cyclops, and the questions asked were mostly not interesting. We long knew Jean had the memories from Maddie and Phoenix. Was this somehow in question?

The preview art was good. The previous X-men Mondays for Jean and Emma were good. Jean and Emma are so interesting so hopefully the rest of their weeks content will be fun.

Yeah I felt that this was a fluff piece for me outside the previews.

The one thing that has me baffled is JDW's explanation on what/who Madelyne is. Simplistically if you only ever read the first 30 issues of X-Man in the 90's his answer makes sense. But since then the alt. universe Jean Grey entity called the "Red Queen" took over that Nate Grey constructed Maddy and she died. Then the Red Queen came back and formed the Sisterhood and attacked San Fran. The Red Queen died again. And finally Jean's dna was spliced into Ana Cortes body and she was revived as the real Madelyne Pryor. And the end of the arc she and Selene took off. So is this all erased with retcon magic?
