    Ghidorah's thing in this anime is that he's a fourth-dimensional (or higher, I can't remember) being, and what we see of him is only the part of him that is capable of interacting with our three dimensions.

    Going by quantum mechanics, the 4th dimension is just spacetime that has no relevancy on gravity. Going by comic book physics it's perfectly plausible.
