You might be confusing morals and ethics.

It is always interesting to me the discussion of morals in ethics. like who decides what is moral or ethical besides everything coming from a place of love. Other than than morals and ethics are pretty debatable, like i find putting immigrant children in cages reprehensible and anyone who supports it can't have much of a moral or ethical core to me but others feel differently.

If it makes the 4some happy and they are all coming from a place of self-less love, enjoy.

That's another good question and one I don't think has an easy answer. Maddie's recent encounters with Scott and the rest of the X-Men have not been good, to say the least. Then again, they did welcome Apocalypse onto Krakoa and they gave him a chance. Since Maddie is a mutant, she certainly has a right to be on Krakoa. But I don't think Scott and the Summers family would be eager to embrace her fully. That's assuming she even cares for them at this point. Hellions #2 comes out next week. Maybe we'll get a better idea of where things stand by then.

I think the bigger concern for Madelyn is that Sinister is there and working with the X-Men.

They haven't, but he was following Old Man Logan around when he saw her for the last time, is not hard to believe that he recognize her scent and might have investigated it after his talk with his alternate self.
