John Carpenter planned a Snake Plissken anime but it fell through. What else could they animate?
Would love a Terminator : Dark Fate 2 anime mostly set in the future with the voices of Arnie, Mackenzie Davis etc.
Matrix 4 anime would be better too.

Given the huge impact Blade Runner and Streets of Fire had on 80's anime and Japanese video games those two would definitely be contenders.
