I've been thinking about the Tower. Only Kurt has been able to enter. But what other mutant could enter into theory? Kitty. Coincidentally the only mutant that Krakoa does not allow to pass.

    PD: Kitty... or Illyana

The whole worldbuilding or the concept behind the ritual was made behind the contradiction between two ideologies. Pragmatism and Religion.

Just to make things not much complicated as it seems, therefore, I am going to put it in simple ways. Kurt didn't want crucible to happen because he was in conflict about the perception of the soul and what happens to it.

I think the idea isn't really should be considered to be complicated for him given he had experienced before. If he has no soul then I guess he has the right to question it.

But one of the few things I think it is important to understand that a lot of mutants have died b4 and resurrected like for instance Jean(who is the member of the quiet council), therefore, they should have a certain explanation of the afterlife or am I missing something.

Honestly, I found this issue very interesting to read but that's the only thing that makes me question the whole narrative behind the issue.

I would assume any phaser or teleporter could gain access? Illyana, for example.
Though we don’t know that for sure
Kurt took a ‘leap of faith’ and the place could have been designed for him. So it sounds as though Krakoa built it especially for him.

You are probably right, but I still think there is going to be a relationship between Kitty not being able to enter Krakoa and the Tower. It is too coincidental with the other card being Rasputin.

I think that Krakoa doesn't want Kitty to enter the Tower.

Hickman is one of those writers that ignores the fact that an afterlife objectively exists in the Marvel Universe.

Aaron’s X-Men was so dumb. Don’t fault Hickman for ignoring it.

No clue, think Hickman is being selective with characters history, not a hint that he’s been walking about without a soul for a couple of years, without any apparent consequences Or that his previous body was made up of mutated demonic maggots...

Can’t say I blame Hickman. Sometimes the X-Men gets too bizarre for its own good.

Even then, there's plenty of proof that souls exist going back to Claremont's era.

Kurt is not questioning whether souls exist, he is questioning how what they know about souls is related to what Cerebro does.

As with many religions and other spiritual paths...that you believe is what's important and necessary.

As a Wiccan...I do not believe in a heaven or a hell. I believe in reincarnation of the soul.
I have a friend who's Catholic and believes in everything that Faith teaches.
I have friends who are Hindu and Atheist and Muslim and Buddhist...
We are ALL 100% right...in our beliefs.

In the Marvel Universe...They have Mephisto. The Beyonder. Literal Gods and Devils, Heavens and Hells and everywhere in-between....Just choose one and BELIEVE in it.

Ok I can get behind this explanation. Thanks

    That's how I read it.
