When was the last time Nightcrawler used multiple teleportations to disable an opponent? Supposedly, his "passengers" experience physical strain and multiple teleportations would knock them out. This move seems to have disappeared from his arsenal.

The only one I remember was in around 2008 drawn by Mike Choi,he and Wolverine escorted Collosus to Russia while there they were captured by a Russian analogue to weaponX and were attacked by Omega Red,Nightcrawler teleported several times vertically to gain height and dropped Omega from like 200 metres in the air to crash through the building. That is my closest memory to using his power in offensive mode.
That use to be a staple teleport attack for Kurt and and he built up a significant tolerance. My guess is that modern writers rarely to back and read the bulk of the old Claremont stories in order to pull various uses of character's powers. It use to be if you did not have a tolerance for his porting, you would get extremely nauseous and may even pass out.
That's actually quite an efficient way to disable the opponent without any long lasting effects. If the opponent has superhuman durability and such, punching him is not going to work and this might be a nice option. Also Kurt has grown a lot in power, he can do many many jumps one after the other at long distance.
It’s why it was always a good weapon in his arsenal, because it’s not actually injuring the opponent but it takes them out efficiently.
I suspect writers have just forgotten about it. Sigh.
It’s also why having him wombling about the place with swords is a bit off, those are close combat killing blades, that’s in character for Kurt Darkholme, nit Kurt Wagner.
Though, Hickman being Hickman, it may be a Clue, if only for X of Swords.
I think Kurt was teleporting cars and other stuff on Sabretooth in Axis.
