Changed my mind. Bendis is the best thing that happened to the X-Books. I thought this issue was great, but imagine how much better it would have been if he had written it?

    Pages 1 - 14

Melody enters the Guthrie Kitchen and talks to Sam

    "Is there coffee?"
    "Coffee"
    "Yeah coffee"
    "Is that a thing?"
    "The thing?"
    "Not THE Thing, A thing"
    "The Thing is coffee?"
"No The Thing is rocks, but I want coffee"
"You want coffee? In a cup?"
"Do we have cups? I'd take a mug"
    "A mug?"
    "Yeah a mug"

Cut to splash page of Jay and Paige saying "Crucible"

    Sam "Crucible"
    Meldoy "Its a thing"
    Sam "A thing it is"
    "It a Thing sure is"
    "Sure"
    "Fine"
    "So - you crucible-ing?"
    "Is that even a thing?"
"We just said it was a thing?"
"No you said crucible was a thing, but I dont think crucible-ing is a real thing"

Cut to four pages of crowds at the crucible, all checking their watches

Cut back to Guthrie house. Jay is reading the instructions in the coffee

"These instructions are totally a Thing"
    "But not *The* Thing?
    "No that would be stupid"

End of issue - written in Krakoan "in 47 issues time - Melody decides if she wants sugar in her coffee!!!"

Stay with the book for issue 200 where ITS CRUCIBLE TIME (almost)

And then there are those born with physical mutations and nothing more.

Science has led to the creation of many villains that have destroyed parts of the world, if not the whole world. So should scientists be controlled? Maybe.

But are they? How many mutants have fled to Krakoa with no money? No job? Yes, they can leave whenever they want, but it just feels like the whole thing is very designed to make them not want to.

Yes, mutants like Quinten Quire and Wolverine can leave when they want, but they also can pass for humans and they have money.

So I guess we should bring up the X-Men becoming mutant supremacists in AXIS, then, if we're counting that.

He's talking about the X-Men, not mutants as a whole.

But is this the same thing? Is it really? Especially when even Kurt is pointing out how reckless this whole thing is and that it seemed designed by Apocalypse to be as brutal and violent as possible.

It seems to me the many mutants that have ran to Krakoa do so because they're still being killed on the streets. Wolfsbane was beaten to death by young men just before Krakoa came online. So I can understand why they would run there.
