If any non-Krakoans saw this, they'd view this as a problem. This is why they won't invite the F4 to see how Krakoa is, and just want to take Franklin.

It was quite explicitly a "DO IT" but people are seeing it as a "Where is your scooter" kinda thing.

That’s sort of the point, in a ‘the poor should eat their children’ way. Just like real life, mutants sometimes manifest their genetics in ways that lead to pain, suffering, death. People saying ‘mutants should be controlled because some mutants are dangerous / some mutants turn into trees / some mutants blow up’ are talking like people who dehumanize those suffering from real life maladies. I do not believe such garbage. I am making a point in how certain people sound.

Wound up wondering if they were letting us know that Scott might be a less than reliable narrator.

I did like the way the artist seemed to show the aperture in Scott's visor either fizzing or bulging with extra energy on two occasions, first when broaching the topic of Crucible and his concerns with it, and later when discussing Nightcrawler's concerns about whether they are still 'themselves' after Resurrection. It's probably just artistic licence, but it could also be a subtle clue that Scott's doubts are considerably greater than he's letting on and either he or an external influence is suppressing them when they get too close to the surface. Can't have the poster-boy for Mutant Revolution speaking out against the way the Revolution is developing, can we? That wouldn't be 'helpful'.

Push her forward to shedding a shell Apocalypse views as filth. If she chose to live as a human, if she thought that letting Apocalypse choose how and who gets the their powers back was crazy, she'd be viewed as unworthy. Why must she fight and prove her worth to get power she was born with and involuntarily stripped of? It's insane.

They are letting people like Apocalypse and Exodus shape the future generations of Krakoa, and they are okay with that. Magneto let's his daughter be referred to as "The Pretender" for what? They've removed all precogs from the equation for what?

Because it makes everyone easier to control. They're no better than the political powers they criticize.

- Things Have Come To This Because They Believe That There Is The Potential For Mass Suicides As A Route To Being Reborn With One's Initial Power Set.
- We Know That This Is The Very First Crucible.

If you have both of those pieces of information(never mind the way Apocalypse treated her after her being brought back...), there is a perfectly logical case for that you make the first Crucible as much of "Seriously, Think About If This Is What You Want To Actually Do..." as possible. Solves the "Potential Mass Suicide..." issue with only one mutant having to be killed and reborn in order to do so.

and you gotta understand that its meant to be strange and alien because it is, mutants dont have the same relantionship normal humans have with death, you. cant focus only on the duel, you need to take into account the rebirth as well.

the violence is metal but In my opinion a sort of quest trough krakoa would be better to test them

It's coercion thru emotional manipulation. Why must she earn the right to get her god given powers back? It's hypocritical of everyone else to just let this happen. Mass suicide is a one time issue, because of the resurrect protocols, but they want you devoted to them with your powers.

It's the reason why they won't resurrect precogs, because they're powers give them insight and that insight will not keep them loyal. The fact that so few question the lack of precogs speaks of TP manipulation.

and also notice melody is killed and immediatly raised back,its a very short process compared to most ressurections we saw that have a period of confusion.
