OMG reminded me Morrison's NXM... i was a kid back then and was really angry with the no dialogue part. All x-titles that month... Now though i love it and i also love this GSX issue!!!!!

The art was beautiful and my only complain is that I was left wanted more because I liked it so much.

Yes, but this wasn't New X-Men 121. If you are going to homage something, at least make it interesting.

Plus, who cares if Storm dies? Was that the reason why this issue ended so abruptly? Because they'll just resurrect her the next day?

If they need to go into telepathy to find out what the virus is like, it means that the virus is mental.

If the virus is mental, it would affect the resurrection of Storm. What if the version of her saved is already corrupted by the virus?

I took the ending to mean "oh, Storm will die in 30 days. But it's ok, we will resurrect her". End of the issue, there is nothing left to discuss here, next week, nightcrawler, bye everyone.

I think Giant Size X-Men Storm will deal with the virus.

I am a huge fan of Morrison's run. Huge, huge fan. and the silent issue is oe of my favorite book of his run. SO yeah, the hommage was a bit heavy, even the end was similar. But..
I LOVED it. The art, obviously, and all the details, the references of Storm's interaction with both protagonist !!! And Emma & Jean working together, and not not one against the other. That was great.

I just noticed that this time, Jean is kissing Logan, instead of Scott.

Feeling very conflicted over this issue...

Did I love the issue? Yes!
Was the art astounding? Yes!
Was I disappointed? Yes!!! I really wanted this to be about just Jean and Emma. I wanted dialogue between them. I wanted closure to issues between them in the past, or at least some explanation as to their new truce and whatever relationships they have with Logan and Scott.

She was probably infected in X-Men # 5. She, Cyclops and Armor were a distraction against the Vault and Storm was injured.

I'd have to read this NXM#121 people keep mentioning to compare but if I compared it to the Snake-Eyes silent issue, it doesn't work here.
So you paid $5 for an art book with 2 pages of plot.
