New Mutants #8 spoilers and discussion

This was one of the most 'average' comics I've ever read lol. Mike del Mundo covers aside, I don't have high hopes for the post-Hickman/Reis era of this book.

I'm afraid I did not enjoy this book in the slightest. I have no idea who the woman at the end was, nor do I care.

The momentum on this book has been absolutely crippled (although it's far from alone in that regard). I'm afraid this is one of the most mediocre DoX issues yet.

That mutant was in Krakoa with the villains in HOX # 4, I think.

Why do the young generic mutants in the X-books always get shown with different colour skin or a different body part?
This has really irked me recently, how come someone like Melody Guthrie is "normal" to look at but all other nameless younger mutants have green skin or horns? It harkens back to the Morrison era.
Just once, I'd like to see a panel of havok or psylocke lookalikes.

I believe it is because it gives artists a chance to do something different.

If that were all he were doing he would've already been found out. He still has to play his part at least some of the time.

He wrote her with her powerset. I was shocked when she mentioned that it would be easier to track them on groundd as she touched the Earth which was a nice forgotten touch
