It’s easy from the mind of an X-Men fan to blame Wanda for a lot. She got rid of a lot of people’s favourite characters, A- and Z-List, in one fell swoop. However, she was a woman who simply lost her grip of reality after a mental breakdown. The anger they felt at losing their powers is justified (and I wasn’t a fan of the storyline since it now defines Wanda) but they’re literally disregarding it for what it was: the actions of an emotionally unstable mutant who was too powerful to contain it.

They welcomed Jean back with open arms when she destroyed a planet and everyone on it, and then lost her **** several times afterwards as Dark Phoenix. The parallels between their stories aren’t that different, other than Wanda’s actions directly affected them as a species. It’s hard to take the moral high ground when they didn’t care for an alien species that was exterminated when Jean lost control.

wanda is not a mutant and jean didn’t seek out the power that corrupted her, wanda’s actions and abuse of power led to the decimation

jean still took more accountability in the original dark phoenix saga by putting an end to herself, wanda cries befor deflecting the blame and sticking up her nose with her avenger status

The D'Bari were an abstract entity…

But the main thing is you forgive easily those who are on your side than those on their side.
    As M.Wilde put it:
Morality is simply the attitude we adopt towards people whom we personally dislike.
“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe

She didn't lot her **** several times as dark phoenix, she only lost one time because she was mindraped and probably also rape by mastermind.

Wanda case was a bit subtitle, we know that Magneto and Quicksilver help confuse Wanda head.

wanda’s case is what happens when you grown your powers but not your psyche, she abused her abilities for personal reasons and and thousands paid for it

To be fair to her, chaos magic sounds like it'd be hard to control, especially since what it does/is changes all the time.

Honestly, she probably wouldn't be welcomed. I think she's as much of a danger to Moira's deal as Precogs.
