based on the preview, okay, this is incredibly... Different. With the understanding that this is clearly a separate continuity, it's a little jarring to see Steve get almost the Robocop treatment where seemingly his entire torso except his left arm and head are, well... gone. I hope this is successful, but. It's a lot to take in.

Is this supposed to be more in line to the original novels' depiction?

No, I have not bought this book. I have not heard from anyone who did. Wondering if it was good or not though?
