This is true. Many might openly scoff but faith helped the people in my life (including those who lost their struggle) a great deal during their darkest days.
I completely agree. I, very much an atheist, still believe in the comforting power of faith for patients. It doesn't have to be real to me for it to be of benefit to a patient.
