I like that Rictor got a nice moment, but I guess I'm in the minority because I don't like the cloak or face paint. Also not enjoying how Cullen is being characterized, he's coming off very Nigel Frobisher.

I get the feeling he's learning as he goes as well, perhaps tapping into an unlimited source of power. It may even be connected to his confidence since •-[A]-• gave him that pep talk. A grounded mind translates to grounded earth powers perhaps.

also he read the grimoire more than the rest of them, perhaps he took some it into practise?
maybe a new page revealed this issue? it be super smart if he put a page into his power set, it would make things more aparent

Yeah I feel this Cullen character would have been stronger, narratively, had it been Andreas Von Strucker. Tying in the Marauders sub plots as well in a one and done.
