As a base outfit, I'd start with this:

I grant you that a lamp isn't EDC, but a pen was and is part of my every day attire. So do we mean just clothes and not gear? I carry a pocket knife but is Stormbringer every day attire if you aren't Elric?

Fate's helmet and a ring are things you would put on everyday, if you were them. I would add for basic clothing Superman's PC suit. It was invulnerable as coming from Krypton. Use it for an under layer without the cape.

The most powerful outfit also needs a wristwatch or pocket watch.

There must be a pocket watch such that when you click on it, time stops, or reverses, or whatever.

Lost in the musty attic of my mind....

There was a movie in the early 2000's (the name escapes me) where a Watch would give you super speed by dilating time.

Yes, that's it, thanks. If I had had one of those at that age, I'd be stopping time to do my homework one second before class began.

Thanks for the reminder. The Time Expansion Helmet from Dexter's Laboratory would be my favorite:

While that’s undoubtedly powerful, in order to be wearing the truly most powerful outfit, it’d be best to stick with a watch.

The helmet you’d need to be wearing should definitely be Magneto’s psychic resistant helmet. Otherwise, for all the power you’d possess, you’d still be prone to lose in Rumbles to someone like Psimon.

I'd suggest that all proposed outfits consider adding a Phase Suit from the Hyperion Cantos as a form of underwear.

Massively FTL speeds, massive durability and strength enhancement. Certainly doesn't hurt.

In the spirit of Space Liberace, aka Mongul, you’ve got to maximise your rings (and since you’ll doubtless have an Infinity Gauntlet on one hand, that’s a lot of rings crammed on one hand).

Every colour of Lantern, all of Mandarin’s rings and Freedom Ring / Crusader’s localised reality manipulation ring.

Speaking of bling, obviously you’d want the Eye of Agamotto.

Agreed on Stellaris’ armour, with maybe the Serpent Crown perched on top.

And how about Devil Slayer’s cloak? Or the Hood’s?

And over the top of the Serpent Crown I’d want Midnight Sun’s fedora. It doesn’t add anything power-wise, but you can only look boss in a space fedora.

I'm disappointed in all of you.

Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Find the one where he's slouching on his throne like a pouty child.
