I'm not surprised, but the writer probably wrote a conclusion for the trade by issue five so this probably isn't going to be a Champions level of scaled back.

Well, I'm still interested in the character so I'd read the 5-issue mini. Been a little while since I've seen her.

You weren't reading Agents of Atlas? Or Spider-Man/Deadpool until that ended? Those two books are where Cindy has been since her previous solo ended.

We're still waiting for the conclusion of Atlantis Attacks...

I imagine she'll be likely folded into that Order of the Web series they're probably making. Or gives them more of a reason to push for it.

The first half of that post was directly aimed at John Ossie, who said he hadn't seen Cindy for a while.

Cindy could become a member of the X-Men or New Mutants. That would give the character something to do...

No she can't - she's not a mutant. If she went onto another team, it would be the Champions. Last year's #1 had her listed on the "Reinforcement Roster".

Neither is Deadpool or Carol Danvers. The premise of being an X-Man is to learn to control their powers. Once finished, they move unto other parts of the Marvel Universe. The X-Verse is a school as well. The X-Office needs some Spider-Characters in their roster. Silk and Kaine fits the bill...

The school was destroyed in X-Men Disassembled. They run a country now instead. A country which automatically makes mutants citizens and bans most non-mutants.

Marvel certainly loves to segregate the Mutants from everyone else. Makes to overall Marvel Brand quite limited in storyline development when all their Editorial departments cannot loan out their respective characters to one another for their books. I could actually see Kaine and Silk as members of the X-Men and New Mutants respectively.

What might be cool to see is The Man-Thing, The Lizard, and Sharon reside on Krakoa Island. This would be the place where the secrets of Dr. Ted Salis research on his super serum can be put to rest. Imagine is The Man-Thing merged with Krakoa?
