I had a theory on Agent Brand, others on Magneto, or Kwannon and yet another one saying there will not be a 10th (due to Gorgon taking 2 swords). I did not buy the handbook, so can you let me (and others who did not get it) know why you think its one of those three?

I think is because these 3 characters have entries on the handbook, like the other 9 swordbearer

Yep, this could be it. I've read a theory here and in reddit that The Brood may be the "contingency" that Captain Summers was talking about.

Who knows after the fiasco with Magneto Moira felt that she shouldn't be directly interfering with the world and its people anymore for fear that she might cause the very thing she waa trying to prevent. So she may not want to get involved with the x of Swords event.

Another member has already answered. It's because only those three are in the handbook together with the other 9 sword-bearers. So do you think it's a coincidence or a hint?

The handbook is just a history of those sword-bearers.
