Ok...did we need to lose so much time in Marauders with Logan being "funny" and having poor manners at the table? Or could we have sepnd some time building the tension between betsy and Isca and then the sexual tension between Bei and Doug?

And this whole event has like zero serious sword fighting ? It's all just Saturnyne being shady?

That stuff could have been tie-in material. The main crossover should have focused on the fights and the filler material should have been relegated to tie-ins. This whole thin did not need to be presented as 22 parts as we have it

I feel that it’s a wtf and after all those chapters about getting swords and it’s like why bother? We invested all this time with the swords and getting to this point where most matches have now happened in two issues? Should have been a mini series that tied into Excalibur

How do you know the remaining fights? There are many characters who have not had a fight yet and others have had more than one, like Wolverine.

We know Cable and Bei will fight in his solo so I assume it's not a straightforward tournament w 10 matches and competitors could be called up again. Saturnyne's just doing as she pleases I guess

From the beginning it couldn't be that way because Krakoa only has 9 participants.

I don't think there are any hard and fast rules...which, while fun, lessens the stakes greatly, all things considered. As the tournament is coming across a tad haphazard. Which could be fun but...

6-8 issues would solve this, instead we got 22 issues with lots of padding and little pay off

Wolverine was summoned to pitch-hit for someone else's fight, hence why the point still went to Arrako. It was Solem's fight and the price Logan paid for getting his sword and not indicative of people truly getting second fights. We've had Betsy, Doug, Illyana, and Logan have their matches. That's 4 out of 9 champions, or just under half. So again, unless survivors are allowed more than one fight for reasons other than Solem's games we're already just about halfway done with them.
