That is likely what they are referencing, but I don't believe that to be the case regardless. OWR (Old Woman Rachel) was on life support machines and in a hidden location so she couldn't be found by Apocalypse's/Stryfe's people after bringing Jean and Scott to the future. Occasionally Scott and Jean would visit her but they didn't spend a significant time caring for her as they were trying to teach Nate to survive and thrive. Plus even comatose, Rachel was busy teaching and caring for Nate mentally and looking after Scott and Jean. But she still gets no love....

Is it though? I mean I hope it is given the living arrangement but they haven't been on panel and interacting together since Extermination 2.
