I enjoyed the story content of the X-Men issue and finally getting the true version of events, additional background on Amenth, and a tease of what the Hellions will be dealing with. But I didn't like that they reused Yu's art.

Sometimes I feel weird because I don't understand impatience. 11 whole numbers for only the tournament itself and only fights would be sooooo boring.

Fights can be very entertaining, one of the best issues is the issue that Orion and Darkseid fight for a entire issue without any dialogue.
People aren't saying to have 11 issues of pure fight, but have some fights

But in a tournament arc the fights obviously go to the end.

There are 9 issues remaining. Most comics don't even dedicate half a chapter to fighting. If even 4 of them have nonstop fighting, that'll be revelatory for western comics

next issue of marauders won't have fights yet, hellions will be their own thing aside from the tournament. So it is 7 issues including the resolution.

And...Other than the obvious sword-fighters like Magik and Poggy...I'm guessing not everyone will be engaging in actual swordplay.
There will be duels of sorts but not many actual sword fights.
