Can't help but feel like we were teased with a contest of swords, but it's all going to be Saturnyne's Tarot-based shithousery instead to buy time until Cyclops gets off his arse and shuts everything down.

i really thought it was going to be a tournament arc instead we get a variety of events that doesnt benefit the x-men at all. Guess Bardock not giving Satyrnyne wants she wanted and Wolverine attempted murder really bite them in the ass

I have no words for this week's issues. This is definitely not what I was expecting and all around disappointed with this whole crossover.

We knew they were gonna switch it up on us. But all 3 issues were disappointing. Some had good moments. But all of them were like WTF. WHY!?

So the entire event is opal just screwing with people?

Yeah... this was disappointing. Up to this point I've tried to be optimistic about the event, and even though the build up has been very long, I managed to enjoy learning about Amenth and Arakko.

But this... this is just anti-climatic. It reminded me of the last issue of AvX: Vs with the random fights just for fun, like Pixie vs Squirrel Girl. Except those were enjoyable because they were not meant to be serious.

This week has been amazing. A tournament in a magical kingdom hosted by a smug, conceited, and spiteful witch? Of course she will laugh at everyone.

There are little moments of talking that are nice in each issue. Like tiny little pieces.

Do we think that Saturnyne is just going to snap everyone back. And thats when we get the crazy battle we were teased in Destruction.

Meh I brought Wolverine, only to be disappointed and I am not sure I will be buying issues till the finale.

Here's the problem. Until this week the event has been built up as this super serious tournament that will decide the fate of mutantkind and the world. The resurrections protocols were rendered useless to emphasize the danger the chosen combatants were in. Both sides were plotting and scheming and attempting murder to get an edge. The build-up was dragged on and on.

And then when the tournament actually starts it turns out to be a big joke.

Marauders was the best issue out of the bunch. I know there is a twist and have to wait, but we’ve been waiting this whole event for something to happen. Disappointed in this week and annoyed I waited until 3am to download my books.
