(But isn't it a bit early? I mean 3-4 issues of 9 titles each have to be released before this event. that's around or more than 30 issues and they have like two months for it -second half of July, August and maybe some time in September too)

Edit: I just counted it, they need to release 21 issues for the titles that tie in the event* from July 8 until the event start. If they'll be back to normal release schedule, then they can catch up until September and we're going to get a good amount of X books every week

*not counting Juggernaut X-Men Empyre, Children of the Atom, X-Men/Fantastic Four, Giant size X-Men

So...instead of everyone getting an Infinity Stone or something, they're handing out the various swords of power that exist in the MU? Hmmmm. Makes me think of all of the fantasy stories I read as a kid, like Saberhagen's Book of Swords series. And, of course, who could forget Moorcock's awesome swords, Stormbringer and Mournblade. (Elric and Stormbringer did appear at one time in a Marvel story. I wonder if they still have permission to use the Stealer of Souls?) As much as I hate events, this might be worth checking out. Interest piqued.

The Muramasa is gone btw, they used it to forge bullets. Muramasa is alive tho, and he can make new weapons.

And Cable's sword is from the Space Knights, which is interesting because I also thought it would have a Psimitar kinda thing.

I forgot about this beauty ! suddenly struck me that the pretty beasties with him probably represent the first horsemen , maybe a clue for powers or personalities? I'm trying to relate them to their designs but the only obv one is the wolf
