22 Chapters....WTF?!@!#

Well I feel they had a considerable amount to rethink this, so im really not concerned, most events that we get don't get this much planning or coordination.
I guess x-men empyre will be a first taste of said colaborative process we will se trough this event

22 issues is a bit excessive though and I cant think of an event that was ever that long. Usually its maybe 12 issues max with some side stories in other books but the way they laid this out as 22 Chapters, it looks like its all essential and with that many it'll be easy to lose interest fast

it seems like 2 sub-arcs with a special issue at the end, that division will probably make it feel more organized

22 issues seems a bit too much read for events. I mean there can be tie-ins for events no doubt but it's like you have to read each issue.

Second Coming was 14 chapters I think but also had tie-ins like the 3 X-Factor issues, Blind Science, Hellbound 1-3. So if you count those figuring in you're at 20+.
