Apocalypse as a breakout protagonist is something I didnt expect years ago, but one i extremely welcome and hope it lasts.

We don't know yet. He looks quite heroic from the little stuff we know. His first involvement with Arakko was an heroic one too.

its to tell a story that has been teased since pox 4?
not everything needs its purpose displayed right at the start, thats how you get boring events like empyre or whatever.
and im not sure what massacre, his intentions have been made clear on moments where he is alone, he wants to save arrako and krakoa-

I kind of hope Excalibur goes through a reshuffle after Swords of X with new writer and artist. We need a little injection of excitement for the title again.
