I really enjoyed the first issue of Empyre X-Men and that was the Hickman/Howard combo that's leading the charge in XoS. I'm hopeful.

Storm has a dagger because she's a knife fighter. It's not like it makes any more sense for people to go around armed with side swords in a World where literally everything - whether spears, polearms, bows, or modern firearms - easily outranges you.
